Miras Hukuku

Inheritance law is one of the areas of expertise of our law firm and is a branch of law that regulates the distribution of property and assets in the event of death. This field covers the intergenerational transfer of people's assets and rights and the relationships between heirs. Inheritance law may vary according to a country's legal regulations and local customs.

Will Preparation: One of the main elements of inheritance law is a will that determines how a person’s assets will be distributed in the event of their death. Wills regulate the management and distribution of property and assets according to the person’s wishes. We support our clients in preparing wills in line with their requests and legislation.

Inheritance Sharing and Obtaining the Certificate of Inheritance: In order for the inheritance to be shared among the heirs, the shares of the inheritance must first be determined with the certificate of inheritance. The certificate of inheritance can be obtained from a notary or by filing a lawsuit in the Civil Court of Peace. However, persons who are not Turkish citizens cannot obtain the certificate of inheritance from a notary, and for these persons, application to the Civil Court of Peace is mandatory. As Kırbay Law Firm, we provide legal support to our clients in obtaining the certificate of inheritance, preparing the tax return and carrying out the necessary procedures for the transfer of assets.
